Brine Recipe****

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts stock
  • 3/4 cup salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 T dry rosemary
  • 1 T dry sage
  • 1 T dry thyme
  • _____________
  • 2 quarts cold water added to help cool the brine

Preparation

Step 1

-Cook brine until the salt and sugar are dissolved.
-Add cold water.
-Brine turkey 1hr per # ( I usually cook a 15-20 pounder)
