Fannie May Fudge

My mother made this fudge every year for Christmas. It was a very creamy fudge.

Ingredients

  • 10 big marshmallows
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1 small bag chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
  • 2 c sugar
  • 6 oz evaporated milk
  • 1 T water
  • Nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Put marshmallows and water over low flame until all is melted. Add milk and sugar. Stir until smooth. Turn temp up and boil. Stir 7 minutes, add chips and butter and stir until smooth. Put in sink in cold water and stir until thick. Put in a butter pan. Store in refrigerator.
