Ingredients

  • 7 cups thinly sliced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. mustard seed

Preparation

Step 1

Cover cucumbers with salt and let stand. Bring vinegar, sugar, celery and mustard seed to a boil. Let cool.

Drain cucumbers. Combine brine with cucumbers. Add sliced onions and green peppers to taste.
