Grandma Prochell's Pie Crust

This is the pie crust my Grandma used to make when she made her famous Banana Cream Pies. I never could quite make it as good as hers, she was the best pie maker! My brother's and I would get in a line, to lick the beaters after she made homemade whipped cream! Good ole days!

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons Crisco
  • 8 tablespoons flour (1/2 cup)
  • OR
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup Crisco
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour and crisco with a fork. Gradually add cold water to form a ball. Flour dough and roll out.

Bake 12 min at 350 degrees
