Bacon & Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. potatoes, quartered
  • 1/2 cup miracle whip or miracle whip light dressing
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 6 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. garlic powder or 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cover potatoes with water in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium. Cook 20 minutes or until tender. Drain.

Mash potatoes. Add dressing, milk, bacon and garlic powder; beat until fluffy. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in the cheese.
