Ingredients
- 1 box vanilla wafers, crushed
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup nuts
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 1 pkg. frozen or fresh raspberries, drained
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 pint whipping cream or cool whip
Preparation
Step 1
Crush wafers and spread in the bottom of a buttered 8" x 10" pan, saving some for the top. Cream butter and sugar, beat in egg.
Spoon over crumbs. Sprinkle nuts over powdered sugar mix.
Drain juice from berries. Heat and thicken juice with cornstarch. Add to berries and pour over nuts.
Whip the cream and spread over berries. Top with remaining crumbs.
Chill.
