Korean Style Beef Skewers with Rice Noodles

Ingredients

  • 6 T soy sauce
  • 1/3 C sugar
  • 1 1/2 t olive oil
  • 1 T lime juice
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 lb. top sirloin steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 1/2 C water
  • 8 oz wide rice sticks
  • 3 T thinly sliced green onions

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare grill to med-hi.
Combine first 6 ingredients in zip-lock bag. Add beef. Marinate 30 min., turning once.
Remove from bag & reserve marinade. Thread steak evenly onto skewers. Grill 2 min each side. Combine reserved marinade & water in small saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook 1 min.
Soak noodes in boil water til tender; drain. Pour reserved marinade over noodles; sprinkle with onions. Toss. Serve with skewers.
