Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 fresh head broccoli, cut up
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Saute celery, carrots and onions in 1/4 cup butter. Add flour. Stir till smooth. Gradually stir in chicken broth then stir in mik. Add broccoli. Simmer until broccoli is tender. Add cheese.
