Onion Salad Dressing (for coldslaw)

Another of my mother-in-laws wonderful recipes. I love this coldslaw on pulled pork sandwiches. Yummy!!!

Ingredients

• 1 C. Crisco oil
• 1 teas. salt
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 teas. dry mustard
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
• 1 teas. celery seed

Preparation

Step 1

Combine wil, salt, sugar, mustard and onion. Beat or blend slowly for 10 to 15 minutes. I use the food processor and it doesn't take so long. Slowly add vinegar and process it thick and very cloudy. Add celery seed. Keeps very well.
