Fruit Cups

These are great little individual salads for a special occasion. They have been served many times on the Dunkley Thanksgiving table.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 9 oz crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 bananas, mashed
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped maraschino cherries
  • Red food coloring (Opt.)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ingredients well. Pour into papered muffin pans and freeze. Serve on a lettuce leaf on individual salad plates.
