Mandel Brott (Jewish Biscotti)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of oil
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 1 tsp. of baking powder
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla
  • Chocolate chips and/or nuts (if desired)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix oil, sugar, 3 beaten eggs, flour, baking powder, vanilla, chocolate chips and/or nuts as desired.

Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Remove and slice logs into ½” slices. Place them on their sides.
Sprinkle top with cinnamon sugar/ Raise temperature to 400 degrees. Toast and sprinkle both sides until dark.
