GLAZED PECANS

Ingredients

  • 1 CUP WHITE SUGAR
  • 1/2 CUP BUTTER
  • 2 EGG WHITES
  • 3 1/2 CUPS PECANS
  • A DASH OF SALT

Preparation

Step 1

HEAT OVEN TO 325 DEGREES. TOAST THE PECAN IN THE OVEN UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWN. BEAT THE EGG WHITES; WHEN IT FORMS PEAKS THEN FOLD IN SUGAR, SALT AND NUTS.
SPREAD THE MIXTURE ONTO A COOKIE SHEET THAT HAS BUTTER MELTED OVER IT.
BAKE FOR 30 MINUTES.
STIR EVERY 10 MINUTES...............NO BUTTER WILL REMAIN.
