Pan-Seared Tilapia

Ingredients

  • 2 tilapia fillets, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
  • Cajun seasoning
  • corn meal
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle one side of fish with Cajun seasoning. Lightly sprinkle with cornmeal on both sides. Heat oil or butter in small skillet on medium high heat. Add fillets and brown on one side, turn. Cook until browned and fish flakes. Remove fillets and keep warm. Add more butter to skillet if necessary and stir in almonds. Brown for about one minute. Spoon almonds over fish and serve.
