- 1 lb thick sliced bacon
- garlic pepper seasoning
Preparation
Step 1
Light charcoal grill on one side only. Soak applewood or chips in water for 30 minutes. Season bacon with garlic pepper. Add applewood to smokebox on grill. Lay bacon directly on grill side that is not lit for indirect heat for smoke flavor. Let smoke for 30 minutes. Flip over and smoke 30 minutes more. Cook until crisp.
