Chocolate chip rice crispy bars

Ingredients

  • 1 C corn syrup
  • 1 C sugar
  • 1 1/2 C peanut butter
  • 8 C rice crispy cereal
  • 1 C semi sweet chocolate chips
  • butter for preparing pan

Preparation

Step 1

Grease a 9x13 pan with butter.

In double boiler cook sugar, syrup and peanut butter until all melted, well blended and beginning to bubble.

In large bowl mix cereal and chocolate chips.

Pour the peanut mixture over the cereal mixture and quickly fold together.

Press coated cereal mixture into the prepared pan and allow to cool.
