Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. all purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 T. milk
  • 1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
  • 2 c. heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

In a saucepan, bring the water, butter and salt to a boil over medium heat. Add flour all at once and stir until a smooth ball forms.Remove from heat;let stand for 5min. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after egg addition.Continue beating until mixture is smooth and shiny.
Combine milk and egg yolk. Brush over cream puffs.
