Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1-1/2 pound hot or mild Italian sausage
- 1 large green bell pepper; seeded and chopped
- 28 oz whole Italian tomatoes
- 1 medium onion; chopped
- 1/2 cup red wine
- noodles or pasta
Preparation
Step 1
Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Add sausage and
brown about 15 minutes. Drain excess oil. Add pepper, tomatoes, onion, and
wine. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes. Serve hot
over noodles or pasta.
