Trifle

Ingredients

  • 2 cup apricot preserves
  • 1/4 cup cherry liquor
  • vanilla pudding (3)
  • whipped cream 1 1/2 pints
  • 1 15 oz can pitted black cherries (drained)
  • silver almonds
  • chocolate or vanilla pound cake

Preparation

Step 1

cut cake in half
spread preserves on one layer
put layers together and cut into 2" squares
layer trifle bowl with pudding, cake squares, cherries and whipped cream
top with almonds and refrigerate
