CELERY CASSEROLE

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced celery
  • 1-5 oz can water chestnuts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup diced pimiento
  • 1/4 cup toasted, sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 TBS melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook celery in small amount of boiling water for 8". Drain.
2. Drain and slice water chestnuts, mix w/ celery, soup and pimiento in a greased 1 quart casserole.
3. Toss bread crumbs and almonds w/ melted butter and sprinkle over casserole.
4. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 35".
