*BERRIES WITH VANILLA CUSTARD

Step 1

In saucepan combine 1 c half and half cream, 2 egg yolks and 2 tbsp sugar, cook and stir over medium heat until reaches 160 degrees and thick enough to coat a spoon. Then off the heat and stir in 2 tsp vanilla extract. Cover and chill until ready to serve, pour over raspberries. I TRIED THIS 11/2012 AND IT WAS VERY GOOD, OTHERS THOUGHT IT WAS OK, I HAVE MADE BETTER ONES LIKE THIS THOUGH.
