Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Navy or Northern Beans
- 1 c. cubed ham
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small carrot chopped
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Sort and rinse beans. Do not soak. In a large saucepan, combine 8 cups water and all of the ingredients. Bring to a boil Reduce heat, cover and simmer until beans are tender. Add more hot water if necessary.
