Ingredients
- 4 6-ounce atlantic or sockeye salmon portions.
- 1 tbsp seasoning salt (Johhny's or McCormick Montreal Chicken Seasoning are both good)
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat grill to medium heat
Place salmon portions, evenly spaced, on a sheet of foil. Roll up the edges of the foil (brown sugar is a good fire-starter)
Sprinkle seasoning salt and garlic powder evenly over the salmon.
Spread brown sugar over seasoned salmon by hand, coating completely with about 1/8 inch of sugar.
Grill salmon for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork. It is not necessary to turn the fillets if they are grilled slowly.
