Spinach Lasagne *(GOOD)*

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon sweet basil
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • Dash of garlic salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach
  • 8 ounces cottage cheese
  • 4 ounce mozzarella cheese, sliced or grated

Preparation

Step 1

Microwave ground beef on high for 6 minutes, drain.

Add tomato sauce, onion, basil, parsley flakes, oregano, garlic salt, pepper and mushrooms; mix well.

Thaw spinach for 3 minutes on high.

Mix spinach with cottage cheese.

Arrange half the spinach mixture, half the beef mixture and 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese in layers in glass baking dish.

Repeat layers.

Microwave on medium for 12 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
