Chicken pot pie

Ingredients

  • 10 oz mixed frozen veggies
  • 5 1/3 T butter
  • 1/2 C flour
  • 1/3 C chopped onion
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t pepper
  • 1 3/4 C chicken broth
  • 2/3 C milk
  • 3 C cooked chicken, cut up
  • 2 pre-made pie crust

Preparation

Step 1

heat oven to 425
rinse and drain frozen veggies
heat butter until melted, add onion, flour, salt and pepper
stir until bubbly
add broth and milk
heat to boiling, stirring constantly boil for one minute to thicken
add cut up chicken and veggies and remove from heat
put bottom pie crust in pie plate sprayed with pam.
Add chicken and veggie mix
add top crust
bake for 35 minutes or until brown.
