Stuffed Pepper Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 3 small green peppers, chopped
  • 2 cups white rice, cooked
  • 1 jar (24oz) spaghetti sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Cook meat and drain. Return meat to pan; add peppers. Cook over med-low heat until peppers begin to turn tender. In large casserole dish stir together rice, spaghetti sauce and 3/4 cup cheese. Add in beef mixture and stir to combine. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake for 25 minutes. Let stand 5-10 min before serving.
