Scalloped Potato and Corn Casserole

Ingredients

  • 5 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 T. butter, melted
  • 1 (14 3/4 oz) can cream-style corn
  • butter (to dot here and there on top)
  • 1 1/2 c. frozen corn
  • 1-1 1/2 c. milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1. Toss sliced potatoes with the melted butter and salt and pepper, then place in greased 11x7x2 inch baking dish.

2. Mix creamed corn, milk, frozen corn and salt and pepper. Set aside.

3. Layer creamed corn mixture and potatoes in dish, starting and ending with corn mixture.

4. Dot top with butter.

5. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour, covered, then for 1/2 hour uncovered.
