Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 cartons cholesterol-free egg product - (4 oz ea)
  • 1 1/2 cups Nestle Carnation Evaporated Milk
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
  • 5 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes (26 oz)
  • 1 1/4 cups chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 cup diced ham (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13- by 9-inch baking dish.

Combine egg product, evaporated milk, cheese, salt and black pepper in large bowl. Add potatoes, onion, bell pepper and ham; mix well.

Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Bake for 60 to 65 minutes or until set.

This recipe yields 12 servings.
