Marinated Mushrooms - Elsie Field Pope AFB, 1981

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cups red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cups water
  • 1 small onion cut in rings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned pepper
  • 2 teaspoons parsley, snipped
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 6-ounce cans mushroom caps

Preparation

Step 1

Bring all ingredients except mushrooms to a boil.
Add 2 6-ounce cans of mushroom caps.
Simmer for 5 minutes, then marinate in the fridge for 12 hours to overnight.
