Cherry Cakes (cookies)

Ingredients

• 3/4 c. brown sugar
• 1 c. butter
• 2 c. flour
• 1 egg yolk
• maraschino cherries

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Cream together butter and sugar.

3. Beat in egg yolk.

4. Gradually beat in flour.

5. Roll in 1" balls, then press down with a fork.

6. Place a piece of maraschino cherry on each cookie before baking.
