Corn Chowder

Ingredients

  • 10 pcs. Bacon, fried and crumbled, reserve drippings
  • 1 Med. Onion in rings
  • 3 C Potato, diced
  • 1 C Water
  • 2 17 oz. cans creamed corn
  • 4 C Milk
  • 2 t Salt
  • Dash of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. In 6 T bacon drippings, sauté onion rings until tender. Add diced potato and water. Cook covered until tender, about 10 minutes.

2. Add corn, milk, salt and pepper. Cook until heated through.

3. Serve topped with bacon crumbles and pats of butter.
