Brisket in Beer

Ingredients

  • 3-4 lb. Beef Brisket
  • 1 Onion, Sliced
  • 1/4 ¼ C Chili Sauce
  • 2 T Brown Sugar
  • 1 Clove of Garlic, pressed
  • 12 oz Beer
  • 2 T Flour

Preparation

Step 1

1. Trim excess fat from meat. Season with salt and pepper. Place in baking dish, cover with onion slices.

2. Combine chili, sugar, pressed garlic and beer. Pour over meat. Cover tightly.

3. Bake 350 degrees for 3 ½ hours. Uncover and bake another 30 minutes. Baste occasionally.

4. Liquid may be thickened with flour to make gravy.
