Apple Dumplings

Ingredients

  • Preheat oven at 350°
  • 2 pkg. Crescent rolls
  • 2 granny smith apples (peeled and cut each apple into 8 pieces)
  • 12 oz. ginger-ale (1 can)
  • Topping
  • 1 1/2 sticks melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 t. cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Pour 12 oz. of ginger ale in 9 x13 greased glass-baking dish.
Separate crescent rolls by perforated edges.
Take one apple piece and start at the small end of rolls and roll over the apple and place in dish.
Continue until all roll and apples have been used.
Mix topping and pour over rolls
Bake 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
Simple and very good and is great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
