Ingredients
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1/2 Bell Pepper, Chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic, chopped
- 1 Rib Celery, chopped
- 4 Tblsp Margarine
- 1 Cup of Water
- 1 (8oz) Can tomato sauce
- 1/2 Tsp Thyme
- 1/2 Tsp crushed bay leaf
- 1/2 Tsp of Basil
- 1 lb of peeled shrimp
- Creole Seasoning
Preparation
Step 1
In Oven, sauté vegetables in margarine for 5 minutes; add water, tomato sauce, thyme, bay leaf and basil. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Add shrimp seasoned and cook for 30 minutes. If sauce is too thick, add water. Serve over steamed rice.
