Heath Bar Caramel German Chocolate Cake

Joe's Aunt Jean shared this recipe with us in our wedding recipe book, it's a sinfully rich and easy cake to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 package German Chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 jar caramel ice cream topping
  • 3 to 4 regular size Heath candy bars
  • Drinking straw for poking holes

Preparation

Step 1

Bake the cake according to the box directions - we would recommend directions for a 9x13 size pan.

Once you take the cake out of the oven, immediately poke holes over the top with a straw.

Pour the canned milk over the top of the cake and then pour 1/2 to 3/4 of the jar of caramel over the top.

Crush the heath bars and sprinkle over the top once the milk and caramel have settled into the holes well.

Moist and delicious!
