Cinnamon Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 6 medium apples ( peeled, cored and thinly sliced)
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe White Cake Mix
  • 1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter or margerine (melted)
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • Cool Whip (optional)
  • Ice Cream ( optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Pre heat oven 350 degrees

Arrange apples in ungreased 13x9x2 pan .

Pour water over top of apples

Combine cake mix, brown sugar, melted better and cinnamon. Stir until blended. (Mixture should be crumbly)

Sprinkle crumb mixture over apple slices.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until lightly brown and bubbly.

Serve warm or cool completely with ice cream or cool whip.
