Apple Pan Dowdy

Ingredients

  • 1 - 21 oz can apple pie filling
  • 1 - 7.5 oz can buttermilk biscuits
  • 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 TB ground cinnamon
  • 1 TB Butter Buds Sprinkles - dry
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425.

Spray 9 inch square baking pan with nonfat cooking spray.

Spread pie filling on bottom of pan.

Arrange biscuits on top of pie filling.

Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, Butter Buds, and ground cloves together until well mixed. Sprinkle seasonings on top of biscuits.

Bake at 425 for 10 minutes. Take pan out of oven, turn biscuits over and return to oven for another 5 - 8 minutes.
