Ingredients
- 2 c uncooked wild rice
- 1/2 c slivered almonds
- 1/2 c chopped onions
- 1/2 c chopped celery
- 8-12 oz can mushrooms, drained.
- 2 c cut up chicken
- 6 c. chicken broth
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 t. parsley
Preparation
Step 1
1) combine all ingredients in cooker; mix well
2) cover; cook low 4-6 hours or til rice is finished. do not remove lid prior to 4 hour mark
