Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1 lb stewing beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 tub herb and garlic cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 225 g (about 1/4 of a 900g box) fettuchine cooked and drained

Preparation

Step 1

Mix meat, onions and mushrooms in slow cooker. Add broth and stir. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. In a small bowl thoroughly combine cream cheese and flour. Slowly add to meat mixture just before serving, stirring well until cream cheese is melted and blended. Seaston to taste with salt and pepper. Add to hot pasta and toss to coat.
