LEMON POUND CAKE

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 small box lemon Jello
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. cooking oil
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve Jello in boiling water and allow to cool. Beat eggs, then add oil, lemon extract and the Jello mixture. Beat.

Add:
1 box Duncan Hines Lemon Cake Supreme

Beat for 3 minutes. Pour in greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake in 350° oven that has not been pre-heated for 30 minutes. Invert cake from pan while hot and cover with lemon glaze.

Glaze:
1 1/3 c. powdered sugar
about 6 Tbs. lemon juice
