Tuna Patties

Ingredients

  • 2 (6 oz) cans water packed tuna, drained and flaked
  • 2 slices whole wheat bread, made into crumbs
  • 3 scallions, chopped or 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped drained pimientos
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp canola oil

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the tuna, bread crumbs, scallions, pimientos, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and salt in a medium bowl. Shape into 4 patties, about 4 inches in diameter.

Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet, then add the patties. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 4 minutes on each side.
