Ingredients
- 1 lb. boneless beef top sirloin 3/4" thick
- 1 lb. mushrooms
- 1 md. onion
- 1 T. olive oil
- 2T. flour
- 1 14.5oz can beef broth
- 2T. worcestshire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 2T. parsley
- fat free sour cream..amount depends on texture you like
Preparation
Step 1
1) cut steak into bite sized pieces. slice mushroom and onions
2) in non-stick skillet on high heat, cook 1/2 the meat stirring quickly and constantly til browned (about 2 minutes)
remove and repeat
3) in the same skillet on md. heat, add oil, mushrooms and onions; cook til tender
4) meanwhile mix flour with 1/2C. of water. stir into mushroom and onion mix along with beef broth, worcestshire, salt and sugar. turn up heat; bring to boil; reduce to md heat and cook til thickened
5) return beef to skillet and heat thru
6) remove from heat and stir in desired amount of sour cream. top with parsley
..i prefer to serve over egg noodles
