Ingredients
- 1/4 c thinly sliced scallions
- 1/2 c. celery, finely chopped.
- 3 granny smith apples, peeled and diced
- 1/8 c. canola apple
- 4 lbs. ground turkey breast
- 2 t. salt
- 1 t. pepper
- 2 tsp chipotle tabasco
- 1 lemon, juice and grated zest
- 1/2 bunch parsley, finely chopped
- 1/4 c. major greys chutney, pureed
Preparation
Step 1
1) saute scallions, celery and apples in canola oil til tender. let cool
2) place ground turkey in large mixing bowl. add sauteed items and the remaining ingredients. shape into 8 burgers. refrigerate for 2 hours
3)season burgers with salt and pepper. place on preheated grill that is lightly oiled. grill each side about 7 minutes. remove from grill and let sit for 5 minutes
