Cinnamon Roll Wrapped Sausage

Just like it says--easy, great presentation and so yum!

Ingredients

  • 1 can Pillsbury Grands! refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
  • 10 fully cooked pork or turkey sausage links (from a 9/6 oz. package)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.

Set aside icing from cinnamon rolls. Separate dough into 5 rolls. Spray a thin, serrated knife with cooking spray. On cutting board, cut each roll horizontally in half, making 10 rolls.

Wrap 1 half-roll around each sausage link, secure with toothpick if necessary (I didn't find it necessary). Place on cookie sheet, toothpick or seam side down.

Bake 12-15 minutes or until sausages are hot and rolls are light golden brown. Cool 5 minutes.

In a small microwavable bowl, mix syrup and icing until blended. Microwave uncovered on medium for 20 seconds or until warm. Serve with rolls for dipping.
