Ingredients
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 4 cups sweet corn, frozen
- 4 fully cooked bacon slices, prepared and crumbled
- 1 cup heaving whipping cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp minced fresh parsley
Preparation
Step 1
Saute onion in butter for 2-3 minutes
Add corn and bacon, cook an additional 2-3 mins
Stir together cream, broth and flour
Pour cream mixture into corn and bring to a boil
Simmer on low 10-12 minutes until sauce thickens
Stir in pepper, cheese and parsley
