Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 (28oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes
- ½ cup chopped fresh basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ¼ cup vodka
- 1 pint heavy cream
Preparation
Step 1
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook garlic in oil until tender for 1 to 2 min. Stir in tomatoes breaking up with a fork. Stir in basil, salt and pepper and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in vodka and cook 15 minutes more. Stir cream into sauce and cook 10 minutes more.
