Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 egg well beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Sufficient milk to make a stiff batter. Drop the dumplings from the tip of spoon into boiling stew. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.

If you wish to use this recipe fpr fruit dumplings add a bit of sugar to the batter and drop into boiling fruit.
