Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can Rotel tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. each white, black, and cayenne pepper
- 4-6 drops hot pepper sauce
- 1 small head cabbage, chopped
- 4 oz. shredded colby cheese
Preparation
Step 1
In a skillet, cook beef, green pepper, onion and garlic, then drain. Stir in tomatoes, sauce, rice and seasonings. Spread into an ungreased 13x9 dish.
Top with cabbage and cheese, then cover and bake at 350 degrees for 65-75 minutes.
