Carrots Marinated

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 t black pepper
  • 1 t worchestershire sauce
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 3 or 4 cans of cooked carrots

Preparation

Step 1

Put the first six ingredients in a saucepan and heat until the sugar is dissolved and spices well blended.
Remove from heat and let cool.

Drain the cans of carrots.

Add chopped onion and pepper.
Pour the sauce over all and refrigerate for 12 hrs or more.
