Ingredients

  • 1/2 1/2 1 head thinly sliced cabbage (about 1 lb)
  • 1 1 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 2 2 T Dijon mustard
  • 2 2 2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 1 1 tsp celery seeds
  • 1 1 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp ground pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Place cabbage and carrots in a bowl. Whisk together vinegar, sugar, oil, mustards, celery seed, salt and pepper in a sauce pan until sugar dissolves; bring to a boil over medium heat. Pour over cabbage mixture and toss to coat. Chill and serve soon!
