Caramel Corn

This is THE best caramel corn recipe. It came from Carol Moyer.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Karo syrup
  • 2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ingredients and bring to boil. Boil 5 min. Take off heat and add scant tsp. of baking soda. Pour over popcorn that has been "demaided". I usually make 4 bags microwave corn. Stir and put in 225 over for 1 hr. turning every 20 min. DELICIOUS!
